Discovering the Writer from Within

On Feb 7th of 2026 I hosted an incredible workshop with San Diego Writers Ink.

The purpose of the class was to help guide people towards the writer they all have in them, hidden by different masks, names, jobs, labels, and careers that our society deems us to occupy as our defining characteristic. But the reality is that there is so much more to us and to our community than the one or three diffirent tasks we carry on a daily basis.

And for us who haven't puchlished a book or been published in a propper setting it may feel false to cary the title "Writer" since we may believe we dont deserve it. But the reality is that if you write. You're a writer. If you write and show no one, youre a writer. If you write songs? Writer. If you journal? Writer. If you write letters to your family members from overseas. You are also a writer.

The class helped breakdown the persona that only that title is carried for those who publish, because once you can tear down that idea of a tittle, and allow your free flowing thoughts to enter a natural state, you can truly enable your energy to flow.
