Published! In the San Diego Poetry Annual 2025/2026

Here During the SDPA on April 13th I was published in the San Diego Poetry Annual where we had a beautiful night of poetry at the Point Loma Library Hervey.

The poem that won the submission was "The Canvas"

"Footprints in the sand -

a fleeting canvas.

Who walked here before me?

I wonder, following their steps.

And when the tide strolls in,

the footprints vanish-

but memories stay,

etched

as if the canvas were stone.

How many stood here-

for their first kiss?

First love?

First heartbreak?

Their first loss?

And what do I bring

to this canvas of stone?

Today, its my choice-

no one else's but my own."
